 Not performing as expected Sep 06, 2010
This new handset worked normal for about 2 weeks. The setup was quick and the quality was good. Then, I started to see no lights and the handset was not working at all. I am suspecting the battery since I always charge it every night.
I sent an email to Plantronics hoping someone either find a way to troubleshoot my earpiece via the phone or offer a quick replacement b/c I need it for work every day.
Overall, I am a little disappointed. I have used an older Plantronics earpiece for 2-3 years w/o any issues and decided to buy a newer one with better quality. I guess I picked the wrong model :-(

 Failure to deliver Sep 03, 2010
I unfortunately cannot rate the item since it wasn't delivered. I paid for next delivery. The product ordered was sent out for delivery at 7:25 AM, returned to the UPS distribution center at 7:35 AM (10 minutes later) and somehow failed to be delivered throughout the rest of the day. The status says that delivery was not made "due to external factors." I am mystified as to what that could be since UPS made deliveries across the street from me at 5 PM.
AMAZON, how do I get the money I paid for next delivery refunded?

Doesn't work with Iphone 4.0 OS Aug 30, 2010
Got one from Amazon. Worked great for a few days. Excellent noise cancellation. Drove on the highway with windows down and the other party had no prblem hearing.
Unfortunately stopped working after a few days. Wouldn't switch on. Called plantronics and they immediately replaced the faulty one. Now the new one wouldn't pair with my Iphone. Customer service told me that nothing can be done as it has issues with Iphone 4.0 software. I can't figure out why the first one was working fine before it broke down.
So Iphone users don't bother to get a Plantronics just get something else.
Very difficlut to put it in the charging unit.

This earpiece does everything it says it will do within reason. People I talk to don't know I'm wearing an earpiece. When I am passing a semi, on pavement that creates a loud road noise or have exceedingly high wind noise, people say they can hear some background noise but when I speak they can't hear the noise. In normal driving conditions they don't have a clue. A real nice feature is the carring case. After charging the battery in the case you can recharge your earpiece one time by just simply attaching the earpiece in the case. We have two of these units and are very plesed with them. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

 Annoying and durable, it's okay Aug 29, 2010
It drove me nuts, at first, this Bluetooth. The sound is okay, not particularly clear or fuzzy, but fine. There, I'd give it a 4. Most annoying about it is that it is designed to be stuck in the ear rather than hooked over it, and while this might work right well for folks with differently engineered ears, it tends to fall out of my ear all the time. Often when just sitting driving, and always if I had occasion to lean over while wearing it. It comes with different sized soft plastic doohickeys to make it fit, and if I use the largest I can jam it it so that it stays most times, but all in all it's a deeply clunky design and most annoying. There I'd rate it a 1.
On the good side, and spectacularly good it is, it's a tough cookie. I once forgot to fish it out of my pocket and sent it through the washing machine (not the dryer). When I got it out, following some swell advice, I let it slowly dry out in a bowl of uncooked rice set on a heating pad for a day. It survived just fine and is as clear as it ever was. That valiant durability would rate a 10 from me, so by my math I'm coming in overall at 3.
I'd not buy this again, for its ear-awkwardness, but have to salute the folks who made it water survivable. It's okay, this Bluetooth gizmo.
